IMG_1834Due to the success of Kiwi athletes overseas, the doors are opening up to young Kiwi basketball players to be considered for opportunities that have previously been unavailable.

Athletic scholarships to high schools, prep schools and universities in the United States are considered to be the number one pathway for basketball players from around the world to continue on with their education - both in the classroom and inbetween the lines of the basketball court.

Aside from your basketball talents, to be eligible for an athletic scholarship you must meet the required academic standards for the institution you wish to attend and have authenticated amateur status.

Our own Senior Academy member Chris McIntyre has prepared an NCAA Academic Eligibility Guide that is linked at the bottom of the page that will have all the information you need to get started with many useful links to sites where you will be able to find more information and clarity.
