The New Zealand Basketball Academy is an initiative which has been inspired by the work of New Zealand basketball legend, Kenny McFadden.
Kenny and his team in Wellington realised that when talented players in New Zealand left high school, they often did not have the opportunity to pursue their basketball any further. The Academy has been set up to offer school leaving athletes the opportunity not only to continue their success with basketball, but more importantly, to support them in their quest for tertiary level education.
With high performance development programmes from age group 13U and upwards, it is never too early to start your own personal journey towards excellence in basketball and education.
